While in his first year as principal of CIA, Josh Halulko is no stranger to the school. Having been in the role of teacher and chaplain since its inception in 2005, Josh knows well the inworkings of the Academy and is prepared to guide the school into the future.
He came to Chicago to serve as a missionary with Inner City Impact (ICI) in the summer of 1997. Having received confirmation from the Lord to return, he moved into the city four days after graduating from Cedarville College in June of 1998. Lafayette Specialty School, located in Humboldt Park, was where Josh landed. There, he taught 3rd and 5th grade students, and served as the disciplinarian and dean of students. Josh was at Lafayette from 1998-2005 and during that time gained invaluable teaching and administrative experience.
Josh earned his Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from Chicago State University in 2005. In that same year, the Lord called Josh and his family to the newly founded Chicago International Academy.
