Tuition & Fees

The 2010-11 tuition is $6,000 per family (for parents with only 1 non-full time preschool student below). All tuition payments at The Chicago International Academy are processed by Smart Tuition. www.smarttuition.com.

Track 1

No Financial Assistance – 10 monthly payments (August – May) using Smart Tuition.

  • Early Enrollment Discount #1 – March 1-31: 25% off tuition with $100 deposit ($4500 per family)
  • Early Enrollment Discount #2 – April 1-30: 10% off tuition with $100 deposit ($5,400 per family)

Track 2

Financial Assistance is available and no early enrollment discounts or periods apply

  • Family brings in their 2009 1040 tax form. The dependent allowance amount (line 42) is subtracted from the adjusted gross (line 37) to get their “net income.” If this net income is under $50,000 the family must pay 10% of their net income with a minimum of $1000/family. The financial assistance amount then is the difference between the total cost and the parent commitment. If the net income is greater than $50,000 the percentage goes up by .5% for every $5,000 up to 11%. If a family’s net was $56,000 they would pay 10.5% of their net ($5,880).
